I LOVE that article!! Now I understand what is wrong with me! I will blame it on my gym teacher for ALL SIX YEARS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL...MR. Nemitz. I hated him with a passion. He used to embarrass not only me but other kids if we couldn't do push ups or sit ups or get a basket or hit the ball. I never made the link between letting KIDS play sports the way they want to and how ADULTS require them to. I used to play outside ALL the time. I would play with balls and climb trees and do very physical kinds of stuff. But when it came to an organized sport in the gym I hated it. Hence I never wanted to try out for an organized team sport in the community at school. I now realize that I may need therapy over this issue.
