"vow renewal" party

I want to have a "renewal of vows" type party for Jerry's and my 20th wedding anniversary. My 19th anniversary is tomorrow, and I can't wait for a year to have the party; I'm too excited. So maybe I will have it just after Christmas. We will see. I want the party to be about the opposite of my first wedding reception. Slightly Tim Burton-esque. Blacks, reds, eggplant purple. Red roses.

The picture of the dress I want is copyrighted, so you will have to go here to see it. I like the black, but I also emailed them to see if they could make it for me in an eggplant purple color. And very long because I am so tall of course, and I want to wear honking tall heels and be taller than Jerry :)

Here is the dress Rebekah picked out for herself:

I think with all the dark colors, this cake would make a nice contrast.
I will have it at the Potomac Club just down the street from my house. There will be music but no dancing. And champagne for my non-Mormon friends. I keep coming up with more and more people for the invite list. Probably over 100 people.

I am SO excited and I hope I can come. This is going to be the party of the century and I would just die if I missed it. I found a dress on that website that I just LOVE but it only goes up to L. UGH Don't think I can lose enough weight by then. We will see what I can find. Maybe someone can make me a dress. I love the dresses and love the cake you guys picked out. Sounds absolutely fantastic. You seriously rock!

Ok, so WHY NO DANCING?????? We are not Baptist, (or whatever religion that doesn't believe in dancing) we are MORMON! Dancing is good! Can't wait for the big event!!
