I saw V for Vendetta on TV last night. I had seen/heard pieces of it before through a fog, but this time I was able to sit down and really let it soak in. I have a penchant for movies made from comic books, and this one did not disappoint. In fact, I loved it. Tales as old as time, both beauty and the beast and revolution, but they were done in such a unique way!
It did not hurt that the lovely Stephen Fry was in it. When asked in an interview what he liked about the role, Fry replied "Being beaten up! I hadn't been beaten up in a movie before and I was very excited by the idea of being clubbed to death."

There was just a feeling to the movie that I can't describe. It sucked me in. I couldn't sleep last night because of it. It's one of those rare movies that I could watch over and over and still not catch everything.
Quotation of the day: " A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having!" -V, from V for Vendetta
