Do your duty

In the process of going about my regular duty this morning, I had this thought: Have you ever wiped a kid's butt who was just getting potty trained? If so, you know that toilet paper just doesn't cut it on poo. Ergo, you should know that toilet paper doesn't cut it for YOUR poo either. A friend put me on to wipes for grown-up butts, and I have been faithful to them ever since. I beg of you, please adopt this hygienic practice.

The vice of versa

• At work today I wielded scissors, glue stick, and glitter. Although the glitter was just a prop and a threat. Long story. I liked the return to kindergarten for the first 2 hours, but the next 6 were a bit rough. And I STILL managed to get "mouse back": the pain under your right shoulder blade from excessively whacking a mouse about. I am seeing serial numbers and bar codes still. I will go give myself a mental colonic now.
